Hey.
Iii'm sitting here, wondering why my hair is still blonde. I was supposed to go to the hairdresser's today, and have my hair cut and dyed... but the hairdresser lady never called us back with a time. :(
My mother is assuming that it was supposed to be for NEXT Thursday, because Heather's not answering the phone... But I won't be able to get it cut next Thursday, because of dress rehearsal for the Christmas Assembly at school. D:
+ I was super excited to have my hair dyed today. :(
ahwell.
other than that, it was a fairly good day. :)
can't really complain.
Ugh, I've been having problems with my friend lately. She was my beeest friend last year. When we met, we clicked instantly, and we'd talk on the phone for hours and hours every night.
There were nights where I'd get less than 3 hours of sleep, 'cause I'd be up all night talking to her.
We understood eachother *perfectly* and we knew *exactly* what eachother meant at all times.
I considered her like my little sister. I taught her everything I knew about everything.
The song I'd always bring up when she was sad, or I wanted to get a point across was 'Father And Son' by Cat Stevens.
We were super close, until I got dumped for the first time.
I lost interest in the Beatles, and she lost interest in me.
I changed a lot from March until now, and so has she.
A lot of people tell me I've changed for the better, but apparently she didn't think so, because she doesn't talk to me anymore.
The most I get out of her is a notification from her 'liking' one of my pictures on facebook.
When I try to talk to her, she cuts the conversation short.
I may have changed, but I'm still her best friend. I'm still the friend she could call and talk to at anytime. I'm still the friend that showed her slash fiction by accident. I'm still the friend that danced with her down the byward market, and taking pictures on Parliament Hill.
But, she's not the same friend.
She doesn't call me anymore.
She doesn't write on my facebook wall saying she misses anymore.
She doesn't miss me at all anymore.
She doesn't comment on every picture in my photo albums, just to cramp my news feed anymore.
She doesn't spam my facebook chat with attractive pictures of the Beatles anymore.
She doesn't try anymore, and it's not fair.
I miss you, Devinn.

Hey.
I have no clue what to write about today, so I'll wing it.
I hate where I live. I know a loooot of people say that, but I honest to God hate it.
I live in this little town called Constance Bay, Ontario. I moved here a few years back, and let's just say, me and Constance Bay do not compliment eachother.
This is the kind of town where you have to have lived there your whole life, or be able to become 'one of them' to fit in.
If you know me, I'm really weird, and I'm never, never EVER going to act the way someone tells me to. I'm too weird and odd to be shoved into a little box.
In my case, this little box just so happens to be Constance Bay.
All of the kids who live here don't like me, and never will. They're not used to people who are so much different than them, and I can't really blame them. They've lived here their whole lives, and have just grown accustom to eachother.
So, in grade 8, within the first two months, I had no friends. It took until about December that I even made one, and she was in grade 7... Which made me get teased pretty badly.
Oh, did I mention that I had a mad obsession with the Beatles? Trust me. It was the biggest obsession you'd ever seen.
Every other word that came out of my mouth had to do with them. Which didn't help my case.
Anywho, grade 8 came and went. With lots of bullying, mind you. Then came the decision of picking a High School. That wasn't hard, I knew I didn't want to go to school with those kids.
So I went to my friend Jasmine. She had been my friend since grade one, and lived in Ottawa. I told her I wanted to go to High School with her, and she got super excited, because we hadn't gone to school together since grade five. After awhile of searching, we picked Merivale High School.
best decision of my life.
:)
It's my second year going there, and I have more friends than I've ever had.
I'm so lucky to have every one of them, and I'm so excited for Jamie to come next semester. <3
I'll post again soon.

Hey. I had no idea what to write about today. So I asked Jamie, and he said to write about my day. :P
I had an assembly today. It was about this contest we had in French class last year. We all wrote anecdotes from when we were kids.
I obviously didn't win. 'Cause I fail at writing in French.
But the contest was based on the story 'The Hockey Sweater' by Roch Carrier, and because the boy who won was in my class, Roch came to our school to talk to us about being bilingual in an English community.
It was really cool, because this man, who was told he was going to be a Lumberjack, wrote a story that sold millions and millions. This is gonna sound corny, but it was pretty inspirational. He said "si je peut te dire une chose, c'est ne limite pas ce que tu peut faire." Which means "if there's one thing I can tell you, it's don't limit yourself."
I thought it was pretty great. (:
This man from a small town in Quebec that didn't speak a word of English, began to speak to us in English. He gave us a speech about how we're like little packages of opportunities, and that we can do whatever we really want to do if we really want to do it.
So that was my assembly. (:
I'm sitting at my cousin's house right now. :P Sleeping here tonight.
I sleep here sometimes when my parents go out for the night, but tonight I'm just kinda sleeping here. (:
it makes it easier to get to school in the mornings, and I don't have to get up so freaking early. D:
soyeah. :)
I'm gonna go play some tetris. (:
laff yew!

I can't believe it's December already!
I'm putting up the Christmas tree with Jamie this weekend; yet it feels like it was only yesterday that we were dressed like zombies walking around downtown.
I'm so excited for Christmas though. It should be good. :D
I got my mum's Christmas present, it's the soap she always gets. I also got my cousins presents: I got Kathryn a box of window writers, and I got Cole a baby puzzle. (:
I'm sitting in the hallway right now, with Jasmine and Brandon. Jasmine's drawing pictures that she found in her house. They're pretty good. (: She can't draw bubble letters though, apparently.
I can draw, too. Some of my drawings are decent, some are pretty amazing, but some suuuuck really badly.
Mostly, I draw trees and people, and hands and eyes. I like drawing things outside, and putting lyrics in the sky.
I'm pretty good at eyes. I have a book at home that taught me how to draw them. (: Megan lent me the book.
On the topic of art, I'm wearing my paint-stained pants. When I was in Seattle over the summer, I went to my Aunt's cottage, and she brought all of her painting supplies.
So for a whole day, and a bit more, I painted. :)
Boats, grass, submarines, and I even at one point painted a peace sign on a plate. It was so much fun. :)
So now, whenever I wear these pants, I feel uber artistic. :D
see ya later, alligator. :)

I'm playing runescape right now with Jamie. :)
Everyone thinks that runescape is only for losers, and 12 year olds... which, can't lie, it mostly is.
But there are a lot of decent people who play it.
Eg. Me, Jamie, Symon, Megan, Jake, Matt... aka, really cool people. (:
it's actually a pretty cool game... it's addictive as heck. I could say some really dorky things about it, but I'll refrain, and just leave it at the fact that I think it's cool. (:
I have a lot of respect for people who can admit that they play runescape.
Today, my guitar teacher got super pissed with me and my friends.
We're the best guitarists in the class, but somehow, we're the ones that she picks on and hates.
Example:
Ms Lepage: DON'T TALK TO EACHOTHER.
*silence*
Jake: Do you have your theory book?
Me: No, sorry.
Ms Lepage: I SAID NOT TO TALK.
Jake: I was asking her-
Ms Lepage: Don't give me ATTITUDE!
Me: I was gonna lend him-
Ms Lepage: IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME, RAISE YOUR HAND.
[we raise our hands]
Ms Lepage: JAKE, GO TO THE HALL.
[Jake leaves, she sends me to the corner.]
Shit, she even took my chair away 'cause I was 'distracting the class'... I have ADD, and I fidget.
It was completely unnecessary and rude. I definitely don't understand why she hates us.
We're usually a really good class. Sure, we're chatty. But we're also 15 and 16 year olds... and playing guitar.
No one likes a rude teacher; and no one respects a rude teacher.
if she wants us to respect her, she has to respect us.
Which she doesn't.
On a good note,
I had an amazing weekend. (:
I hung out with Jamie on Saturday, and we went to the Rideau Mall.
It was super-fun, I love downtown Ottawa,
and I love my boyfriend even more. (:
I got Christmas presents for my mum and my cousins.
Then when we left, Jamie, Matt and I all went to some kid named Avery's birthday. It was a drunken 'sausage-fest'.
Let's just say, Avery had a hammer. I even got tackled at one point by some drunken kid. xD
He thought there were polar bears chasing him.
When I got up after being tackled to he ground by him, I swear to God, Jamie was ready to knife him. D:
I've never seen him so mad.
So I told him I was alright, and that everything was fine, and he calmed down a bit after awhile.
... then him and Matt smoked some dope. xD
then we went back to my cousin's house, where they fell asleep and wound up crashing the night. :)
I got to wake up Jamie the next morning at 8:15 am. :)
btw, he's adorable when he sleeps, and makes really cute faces when he wakes up.
Then we sat around for awhile, talked with Matt, listened to music, played some tetris, then left. (:
it was pretty fun. :D
*breathes after very long paragraphs*
We THEN went to Jamie's.
sat there and chilled for the day. (:
and we all then went to my open-mic, and met Megan there.
ft. Uncle Kevin, Rob, Brian (Jamie's Dad) my parents, Ted (LOLDRUNK), and of course Mike and Doug.
I also made friends with Jamie's little sister, Kayla. :D
There, that concludes my events of the weekend.
laff yews.
